A rapidly growing DTC brand is reimagining a staple category in women's fashion. We are disrupting a traditional industry with innovative products, bold storytelling, and a customer-focused approach. Since our launch, the company has reached significant scale in the US market, serving a large and loyal customer base.

The Role

We are seeking an organized and detail-focused professional to lead the entire product lifecycle. Your goal is to turn concepts, trends, and creative direction into market-ready goods that meet our quality, budget, and timeline targets. You will serve as the primary link connecting design, manufacturing, operations, and logistics to ensure seamless execution at every stage.

Responsibilities

Strategy & Ideation

Analyze market trends, materials, and competitors to identify new opportunities.
Create product concepts and directives that align with our brand vision.
Assist in building seasonal roadmaps and planning strategies.
Development & Sampling

Oversee the development process from concept to final production approval.
Collaborate directly with manufacturers to create initial prototypes.
Review multiple sampling rounds to guarantee construction and design accuracy.
Work with designers and technicians to refine fit and finalize size specifications.
Sign off on all trims, fabrics, constructions, and finishing details.
Handle color standards, including lab dips and bulk approvals.
Supervise auxiliary production projects, including packaging, inserts, VIP mailers, and other branded collateral.
Production & Quality Assurance

Monitor manufacturing schedules to ensure readiness for bulk orders.
Maintain strict quality control standards in partnership with factory teams.
Troubleshoot production challenges and mitigate potential risks early.
Costing & Negotiation

Manage the budget for product development from start to finish.
Negotiate costs with vendors to reach margin goals without sacrificing quality.
Evaluate labor, materials, and MOQs to improve unit economics.
Align with finance and operations teams to ensure costs fit our retail pricing structure.
Operations & Logistics

Collaborate with the Operations team to issue Purchase Orders (POs).
Align schedules for manufacturing, shipping, and final delivery.
Facilitate a clean transition from the development phase to fulfillment.
Project Management

Maintain detailed project timelines and Gantt charts for all launch cycles.
Create and organize comprehensive tech packs and product documentation in shared systems.
Qualifications

3+ years of experience in product management or development within the apparel or consumer goods sectors.
Demonstrated history of managing offshore manufacturing teams, specifically with partners in China.
Solid knowledge of fabrics, fit, garment construction, and production methods.
Experience negotiating costs, payment terms, and MOQs with international suppliers.
Strong organizational abilities and project management skills.
Capable of handling multiple product lines and deadlines at once.
Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Highly detail-oriented with a proactive approach to solving problems.
