We are seeking a skilled Web Editor to join our 24/7 news website team. This role is essential in delivering up-to-the-minute news coverage and maintaining the high editorial standards of Haaretz.com. The position requires working in shifts, including weekends and overnight, from our Tel Aviv office.

Key responsibilities:
- Edit and publish articles, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and adherence to Haaretz's editorial guidelines.
- Translate and adapt content from Hebrew to English.
- Optimize articles for SEO, including headlines, keywords, and meta descriptions, while ensuring web copy is error-free and engaging for readers.
- Select and incorporate relevant images, videos, and infographics to enhance articles.

Requirements:
- Excellent editing and proofreading skills in both Hebrew and English.
- In-depth knowledge of Israeli politics, culture and current affairs.
- Excellent Hebrew to English translation abilities.

Details:
- Shift-based work, including weekends and overnights, four days a week.
- Office location: Tel Aviv.
